I'll stamp all over 'credible boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's boxing match.

Former two time world boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.

Boxer's Mentality

"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my goal."

Civil Exchange

In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

Nevertheless, the novice remains one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul met for the customary confrontation, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really happening.
